Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival, we will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s most famous national parks. Arusha is a bustling city with a striking backdrop of Mt. Meru. Spend your day at leisure exploring local markets, art galleries, and coffee plantations. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner where you’ll be briefed about your upcoming safari adventure. Tonight’s stay will be at one of these comfortable lodgings: Arusha Coffee Lodge, The African Tulip, or Mount Meru Hotel. Each offers a unique blend of local charm and modern amenities, ensuring a peaceful start to your safari experience.
After breakfast in Arusha, embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you approach, the vastness of the crater unfolds before you. The Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The crater is a haven for wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino. The diverse habitats within the crater provide an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing.
