Amazing Experiences
Our trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti was the most amazing adventure. We are so happy we selected Bush knowledge as the company to guide for us. Leonard was fantastic to work with through the whole process. We had so much fun and so many great animal sightings and experiences. Our most memorable moments we will remember for our lifetime. Trip of a lifetime
Trip of a lifetime. We were a family of 7 and never been to Africa. Living in the USA, we didn't know what to expect and had many questions. Leonard of Bush knowledge safari was more than helpful answering all our questions a year in advance of us even going on the safari. I could contact him at anytime and he would make himself available. We knew what we wanted to do and see and he helped us plan it out. Leonard picked us up at the airport and the adventure started. We booked a 10 day safari. Bush knowledge and Leonard made our trip. He is so knowledgeable about all the animals and the surrounding area. Exceptional experience!
Don't shop anywhere else!! We spent a glorious 11 days with Leonard Msanze on a customized Safari tour of Tanzania in February 2023. Leonard Msanze, as our host and guide, provided friendly, laughter-filled, professional and exceptional service. The attention to detail, as well as flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, gave us a worry free experience. We were impressed by the variety of accommodations that expanded our range of experience but all provided us with comfortable amenities and wonderful menu choices. Leonard has the amazing ability to spot animals out of nowhere and his easy going manner got on well with every management team we came across. We included opportunities to meet the local people and explore the culture of Tanzania. We were so overwhelmed with the beauty of Tanzania, the graciousness of its people, and the wonders of the wildlife. Thanks to Leonard Msanze for this amazing experience. The perfect 2-day trip to Serengeti in March!
We traveled with a group of 5 on a two-day Serengeti safari from Mwanza. Although it wasn't high season in the region (started from Ndabaka gate) - we saw basically all the animals we expected to see, and came really close. Elephants, lions (many), zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hyenas, different kinds of antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, birds, turtles and lizards. The sunrise after sleeping in a nice rest house was unforgettable. We highly recommend Leonard as a guide for your safari trips in Serengeti. wonderful family safari with Bush Knowledge
I went on a one-night Serengeti safari with my husband and our two kids (9 and 5yrs) and my aunt and cousin. We all had an incredible time, even though for my husband and I it was not our first time in the Serengeti. We saw a huge variety of animals in just 36hrs in the park, and were very impressed with the guide's knowledge of animals and birds, not to mention he's a lovely person and very enjoyable to spend a few days with! And, when we arrived at our accomodations and there had been a mistake/miscommunication, he handled it completely and everything worked out very well. Exceptional trip
Our first safari with Leonard Msanze (Owner of Bushknowledge Safaris) was November 2018. Leonard is a wonderful guide: he is able to find all animals and you can feel that he feels love and respect for them and the nature in total. He also allways takes care of the people whos travelling with him. It couldn't be better. On a second safari (May 29019) we "entrusted" our mothers and a friend of them to him (they are 73, 74, and 75 years old) and these 3 ladies described the trip with him in the same way. Excellent camping trip

First safari
This safari was a grand experience for the four of us thanks to Leonard and his skill sets, knowledge, expertise, interest, personality and dedication. The grandeur of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Oldupai Gorge and the amazing world of African nature were on full display, with Leonard the maestro and commander in chief. Thanks, Leonard, for such a memorable, wonderful safari, not to mention the excellent, unique hotel accommodations you arranged for our comfort and pleasure. I hope prospective travelers will take our advice and recommendations to heart and place there trust in you, it is well earned and appreciated! Second wonderful safari with Leonard Msanze, Lucky ME!
Leonard was our excellent guide and driver who ensured that we saw so many different animals, birds, and even insects, including of course the Big 5. We were very, very close to beautiful wild creatures, yet felt (and were) totally safe. Our comfort was taken care of and our accommodations were delightful and just what we wanted. All this and Leonard is a really nice person who seems to enjoy the animals and the natural world as much as his customers. His extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, geography and history of the Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater will amaze you. He's tireless, and such a great driver that you just "speed" along when you need to. Then there's much more time to linger and observe the best stuff. Sit back and be awed! Arranging the trip was easy and both Leonard and his business partner, Anne Domingue, quickly answered my every question while I was planning the safari. I've been on safari twice with Leonard, with two very different groups, and he tailored each trip to our unique needs and wants. On Day 4 I jokingly said to my travel companion, "Leonard has shown us everything except one of the 500 species of dung beetles." Within a few minutes Leonard stopped the car, we all got out, and there was a busy little dung beetle doing her thing! (Rolling a ball of dung!)
